Tired - Soooo Tired.......

I keep telling myself -
One day you will Not be soo tired
One day she WILL feel better
One Day......

That day will come.

Aine slept through the night, and has been able to bring up a lot of what is in her lungs.  I have been deep suctioning her to help and am very lucky that once we start she will lay with the line in her nose, because it is hard to mentally deal with deep suctioning her, so she makes it a touch easier by helping :)

She has only slept 1/2 of the day today, so that is also an improvement on yesterday :)

Her stats are about the same place that they were yesterday, but her color is way better than yesterday.

Thank you for all the prayers and good thoughts!!

COFFEE PLEASE!!!!

I will say this first - they were right......

They being the hospital :(

This is going to be a L.O...N.....G...............   road to recovery :(

Another pretty sleepless night caused by a bump in the road not long after bedtime.

That bump in the road is causing an all day sleep fest (except for when the fever returns and she wakes up).

Her lungs still sound good, but there is a little bit of junk that can be heard - so we have bumped up her lung treatments to make sure it stays mobile and comes out.

The silver lining in today is that I got a bunch of work done, I'm on my second pot of coffee, and I did get one smile out of Aine.  The super bummer part is that she doesn't feel good and I don't like it.

RSV is NO fun and if we never deal with it again, it will be too soon.

Thank for all the prayers  and thoughts.  We really appreciate them.

We have completed another day at home.
Last night was rough as Aine was up all night, and has been sleeping on and off all day.
The positive side is that her stats are staying good and she is getting some sleep.

We are hopeful that she will continue an upwards swing.

Thank you for all your prayers and support!

HOME!!!!

We were released last night from the hospital.

It was a good night for Aine, so we are hoping that it continues this way.  We know that there may be bumps in the road since we don't know for sure how long she has been sick, but we are working on getting everything prepared for the long haul ahead of us.

We are getting a new addition to her equipment sometime today.  We are officially joining the concentrator world (at least on a temp basis) because she is consuming soo much oxygen at this time.

She is getting really good at getting the secretions up And out, so that will help in her a ton.

We will be taking everything day by day and continuing to hope and pray for nothing but healing.

Thank you for all your prayers, good vibes and thoughts!  We appreciate them all!

Illness update

I was unable to log into this account, so I am posting what I posted from another site that I do.

Hospital Stay
I'm still in the hospital and my auntie Cindy just left so she could get home.  I miss her already. :(
momma said I should take a nap and is letting me watch a movie while I get ready for a nap.  I chose Elmo in Grouchland!
My lung doctor came in and saw me to give me a high 5.  I was good for him and he talked to my momma.  They are adding another matching for me to breath in :(

we have some good and some Ehhhh..... News.  It will take anywhere from 4-6 weeks for her lungs to clear out the junk that is in them, so we are adding another neb med to help her during this time.  We are hoping that she will remain stable throughout the day so we can talk about going home and doing treatments and healing at home.
She has some plugs in her lungs, so we need to make sure that they don't get stuck and cause problems.  She is on oxygen, but that will not keep her in the hospital since we have oxygen at the house.  her cardiologist came to visit anis make sure she is doing ok.
she is fighting her nap, so we will see what happens.
thank you for all the prayers and good thoughts!  They are all appreciated and needed.

RSV
Not so good news on my end :(
Momma took me to the Dr today because I wasn't feeling good and we found out I have RSV.  I had to go to the hospital so they can monitor me and make sure I get healthy.
The good news is that I am currently not showing any "clumping" so if we can keep all the gunk in my lungs loose I may be able to stay away from pnuemonia.
Momma is hoping we can leave soon, but we won't know more until tomorrow.

While all these holidays are fun for me, they are also really hard on me.  Momma says my eyes look sleepy all the time because they are so red.  I'm also really crabby which isn't what I am usually like.
I did have a great Christmas and a got to see my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins!
Santa came to vist and brought me some really neat trains and babies!
I also got a present from The Anderson Family!
Thank you for the Beautiful hat and headband!  I LOVE the picture and had to put it on my wall!

Liam has found a new joy in his life :)

He really likes Karate!  Which is awesome, because both Shawn and I like martial arts.
Aine is begging to join the class, and threw a mini fit because I wouldn't let her go into Liam's class.

We are hoping that her doctors will say that karate is an ok sport for her to proceed with since it is also based on individual accomplishments.

We are staying warm and not too over sad that the pesky white stuff is falling small quantities and disappearing because it makes it soo much prettier since it isn't getting all dirty :)

We have our Relentless 2015 kickoff this weekend, so we are excited to see all the other families!

Relentless 2015

Aine has been given a really cool honor!

She has been paired up with a powerlifter who will be representing her in the March 2015 Relentless event!

We have started talking to Nomg online who will be her power lifter for the event and are excited for the day that we get to meet him in person.

One reason we are excited for Aine to meet Nomg in person is because she was really amazed when she saw the freak show move a fire truck at a previous event we were at, so I can only imagine the look of amazement on her face when she knows someone who is up on the stage!

Another reason we are excited is because this event will benefit soo many people - kids and adults alike.  The Relentless Team and Hope Kids are working together to raise money for the program!

Hope Kids has been Great for us.  We have been able to see movies, go to plays, and spend time at 5k & Kids walks events while not having to worry (too much) about miss Aine getting some yucky bug :)

If you want to find out more about Relentless 2015, you can follow this link or contact me using the contact me button on the side :)
