All The kids

Well,
It's sure has been a crazy ride and the roller coaster doesn't seem to want to let us off yet - so..... Let's sit back, enjoy the ride, & take the bumps with stride.

For those that don't know yet, our dog Two Pup (AKA: the Choosen One) came up lame a few weeks back & proceeded to get worse then did the ultimate butt drop. So... seeing the tell-tale sign, I made an appointment, sent her to the vet & had the rads of doom done. Now I knew sending her in that she would probably come back with a stamp of a torn (or partially torn) cruciate which would need to be surgically repaired to keep her going - but I was NOT expecting the news I was to hear a few days after her appointment.

The x-rays were sent to a specialist to get a second opinion & it was determined that not one but BOTH knees have a partial cruciate tear. So not what I wanted to hear. But.. On the plus side, there is no signs of degenerative disease & no signs of arthritis so I caught it early enough & once the doc says what he wants we'll go from there.

My hope is to get both "kids" into surgery and recovery at the same time. It will be quiet around the house & Two will be able to rest because she won't have as many people to "protect" since my little miss gimp is pretty sad that she can't make it to the door without skidding out. (Doesn't make for a terrifying entrance when you can't stand up :)-

On another plus side, we have a bunch of babies coming into the world that are happy & healthy, we have some wedding coming up, many birthdays to celebrate, and even though it is warm - beautiful days to wake up for.

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers that continue to come our way we appreciate each and every one of them & look forward to the bumps in our ride to start getting smaller :)-
