Where did November go??

Well, Time has flown by faster than I can say & I've been horrible about keeping up with the blog.

Liam is doing great. He just turned 19 months on the 23rd of November & is growing by leaps & bounds. He adores Thomas the Train & wants to play at his train table 24/7. We went to the Train Museum today to show him some of the cool train set that they have and he didn't want to leave.

He's gotten a clean bill of health from his Dr & we are hoping to get him back into swimming & start tumbling classes after the new year when registration re-opens for the both of them.

For those that haven't heard, we are having a little girl (name to be announced early May, so asking won't help :)- she is currently 16 weeks old and we will be having another ultrasound in a couple of weeks.

There will be some big changes occuring in the Casey household. Many of you know that we have been working on upgrading our house because we have just plain grown out of it since the arrival of Liam, and now that I am doing part-time daycare it feels even smaller.

Well, tonight we upgraded our Yukon to a Suburban and are really crossing our fingers that a new house is right around the corner, because man o' man is April our Month!
Did you know? I'M A BIG BROTHER!!!!!

August

Happy September everyone!

As usual last month went by way too fast and we have had many new things happen.

Liam is starting to say a lot more 2-3 word sentences & is working on running (he can now go "really fast" half way across the living room.

Liam is a huge car fan (right now his favorites are: fire truck, cement mixer, car hauler) He also Loves airplanes. Along with that he has taken a HUGE liking to "cooking". My kitchenware is not safe! We took a trip to the $$ store to get him his own utensils (we'll see if he leaves mine alone) and will soon be getting him a kitchen.

It's really cute to watch him while we sing "head, shoulder, knees and toes" along with "if your happy and you know it" because he can point out head, eyes, hands, tummy, and feet.

He has to have something on his wrists pretty much at all times right now. If it's not his ducks (see pictures) it's one of my hair scrunchies. He is also working on pulling his underwear up, putting his shoes on, and can successfully put his arms into his shirt. I just can't get enough of all the cool stages.

Liam is also working on popping his last four teeth! I can't wait until the teething is done, the poor guy just doesn't do well with it at all.

Fingerpainting (yes he was thinking about eating it, but he opted to try the blue instead of the red)

Yet another teething picture

He found some funky dog in a box of toys I brought in my mom's house.

This is what happens when you have a garage sale and your son gets into the stickers :)

He has figured out how to get into the pantry and found his new favorite snack.

He's yelling DaDa DaDa (Daddy) over and over at the top of his lungs. (Now for the best part, Shawn is actually right behind him)

No More Dust!

Ok.....
So I've been slacking on the posts. (To be honest, it's kind of sad posting - it makes me realize just how fast my little man is growing!) I was reminded today that my blog is "collecting dust".
To fill you in on what has been going on in the Casey household.
Liam will be 15 months old on Thursday! Happy 15th month Little Man!
He amazes us every single day. Some of the new things that he enjoys doing are: walking backwards, laying on his stomach and slithering backwards, pulling toys (while walking forwards or backwards), throwing balls (he's working on kicking but right now it's more like walking & accidentally "kicking" the ball), stacking blocks (legos & regular blocks).
He is teething yet again, which as you know is not the happiest time of his life - BUT we only have 6 - Yes 6 teeth left to come in :)- Then we will be done until he starts loosing them.
We have started watching a little girl who is 12 months old. Liam seems to love having her around, and keeps busy reading and talking to her. He's not the best at sharing yet, but it will come.
He is talking ALOT lately. He is starting to say 3 word phrases - with his favorite being "I don't know" and "I DID IT!" He is also really starting to love posing & smiling for the camera (could that be because he's had a camera shoved in his face all his life??)
Enjoy the updated pictures!
