Wow - Teeth are not my favorite part of being a mommy. Liam has been cutting two of his lower front teeth for the last week and sleep has NOT been part of our vocabulary during that time. It will all be worth it though once he looks up at us and smiles with those beautiful little teeth of his. He is sitting like a champ now and loves to have playtime with daddy before bedtime. He's not really crawling forward, but has gone backwards a couple of times (I think it may have been more by accident while trying to go forward.)
We went to Forest Lake over the weekend to watch cousin Nick play football. This was Liam's first time watching a game. After, we went to Pine City to visit Nana & Papa. The following day, we visited Grandma & Grandpa Casey.

Growing some more!
Liam has decided that this is the time of many firsts. He started these firsts out with rolling over, but hasn't stopped there. When he is on his tummy on the floor - he can spin in circles, he can also scoot across the floor when he is on his surfboard (it is meant to help him spin in circles, not make him mobile :), he is learning to vocalize his giggle, and the newest is sitting on his own. He has to have help pulling himself up - but that's it. Our little man is growing so fast, it is both exciting and sad at the same time.

Exciting Times
Well, it has been a very busy couple of weeks. Liam is now 17 pounds 14 ounces and 27 inches long. He rolled over yesterday for the first time (video below), so we will have to see where that leads and what kind of trouble he can get himself into.
We have been to the zoo a few more times and each time he sees a little bit and then falls asleep. Maybe one of these days he will see the whole thing.
He was baptised on August 23rd, which went very well. He did not cry and ended up sleeping through some of the service. He had LOTS of visitors and wants to thank everyone for the smiles, hugs, and kisses that he got from everyone.
