Memorial Day Weekend
It was a great Memorial Day weekend. Liam turned one month old on Thursday & graduated to the next size in clothing. He got to go to Steak night on Friday, have Grandma & Grandpa Casey over on Saturday and go to Pine City to visit Nana & Papa Bothum, Auntie Cindy, Uncle Rick and most of his cousins. He's not too sure about his cousin Nevaeh who just turned 2 months old because she likes to hold his hand (YUCKY!!! Girls Germs!)

3 Weeks old!!
It's amazing how the time flies. Liam is now three weeks old (as of Thursday!)
We once again had an eventful week - and they just seem to be getting better and better.
Monday his umbilical cord fell off (Daddy got that lucky diaper!), Papa Bothum came to visit (Nana Bothum isn't feeling well, but is hoping to come and visit next week). He started to make some more new noises (which Nana got to hear over the phone) and we got all dressed up to visit Grandma & Grandpa Casey for mother's day. He is also smiling and giggling more and more every day. He still loves to eat, sleep, and poop - but is started to spend more and more time awake working on holding his head up longer than the day before, getting his motor skills to work together, and just plain trying to be the busy bee that he has been since he was able to move in the womb.

Doctor's Visit
It's only Thursday & we've already had a fun and eventful week.
On Monday, Cousin Melissa & Reagan stopped by for a visit & then we went to Liam's first Doctor's appointment and all went very well. He came in at 9 Lb's 12 oz (I can't believe that he is only 4 Oz's away from 10 lbs) He wasn't happy about getting weighed & having his height checked, so he decided the best way to show his feeling was to "Christen" the nurse that made me take his diaper off. (they now know he has great distance & aim!)
We've gone to the grocery store, grabbed onto & pulled the puppies ear, had a second bath, started to make some new noises, and for the most part started sleeping 4-5 hours at a time during the night!

At home a week
Well, where do we begin?? Tomorrow (Sunday) we will have been home for one entire week. Things are going well and every day seems to get better. Liam is getting bigger every day (he is out of "newborn" clothes and was back to birth weight 3 days after coming home!)
Our visit from the at home nurse went well and both Liam's head and my incision are healing like they should.
He is giving us new faces and sounds every day making us laugh and smile all the time. He is still having visitors stop by to see him and seems to love the attention from everyone.
