Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!
Wow has the time flown by! I can't believe how much fun we have been having. Liam has a ton of new sounds, is smiling, bouncing, and working on crawling. We had a great Christmas with both sets of Grandparents and all of the aunts and uncles. We can't forget about the cousins because they were tons of also. Hope you have fun with the pictures and check out the video of our little man becoming mobile!

7 months and counting!
Time has been flying! Liam turned 7 months on the 23rd and is getting soo big! He is doing really well on his solids, so far he likes everything except for green beans. He has started to pull himself up to stand from a sitting position without assistance, so we are guessing walking is right around the corner.
We had a really good first Thanksgiving with Grandma and Grandpa Casey. He seemed to enjoy the day and slept really well (must have been the new food: Peas that did him in :) Next year it will be the Turkey ;)

Halloween with the monster
It was a great first Halloween with our little monster. We got to see a lot of the family and show off his first costume. His cousin McKessa's wedding was that day, so Nana & Papa Bothum, Auntie Cindy & Uncle Rick, along with Auntie Nancy & Uncle Bert were there. Afterwards we headed over to Grandma & Grandpa Casey's house to continue the celebration. Sally didn't know what to do when he was in his costume.
We have also visitied the doctors for his 6 month visit & shots. He did extremely well during the visit and is coming in at a whopping 19#'s, 27 3/4 inches. He has now started to eat cereal and has seemed to take right to it.

Wow how the time has flown. Liam is now 6 months old, has 2 teeth - and we believe more are on the way, is working on crawling and loves to laugh. He has such a Great personality and is so fun to be around. We are excited to go to his 6 month appointment to see how he is doing and find out how this whole food thing is going to go.

Fun Times!
We continue to find new and exciting things to do. While we were trying to do 5 month hand and footprints, Liam decided that he was Done. He "let" me make footprints, but wanted to fingerpaint instead of making handprints - so... I let him go & boy did he have fun. We have continued to fingerpaint since that day & I can't wait until he can do more cool stuff like that. Liam is now attempting even harder to crawl (he has gone backwards by mistake a couple of times), and he is now also trying to pull himself up to a standing position when he is seated. Our little boy is growing up soo fast, I can't believe it.

Teeth, Teeth, oh those little white teeth!
Wow - Teeth are not my favorite part of being a mommy. Liam has been cutting two of his lower front teeth for the last week and sleep has NOT been part of our vocabulary during that time. It will all be worth it though once he looks up at us and smiles with those beautiful little teeth of his. He is sitting like a champ now and loves to have playtime with daddy before bedtime. He's not really crawling forward, but has gone backwards a couple of times (I think it may have been more by accident while trying to go forward.)
We went to Forest Lake over the weekend to watch cousin Nick play football. This was Liam's first time watching a game. After, we went to Pine City to visit Nana & Papa. The following day, we visited Grandma & Grandpa Casey.

Growing some more!
Liam has decided that this is the time of many firsts. He started these firsts out with rolling over, but hasn't stopped there. When he is on his tummy on the floor - he can spin in circles, he can also scoot across the floor when he is on his surfboard (it is meant to help him spin in circles, not make him mobile :), he is learning to vocalize his giggle, and the newest is sitting on his own. He has to have help pulling himself up - but that's it. Our little man is growing so fast, it is both exciting and sad at the same time.

Exciting Times
Well, it has been a very busy couple of weeks. Liam is now 17 pounds 14 ounces and 27 inches long. He rolled over yesterday for the first time (video below), so we will have to see where that leads and what kind of trouble he can get himself into.
We have been to the zoo a few more times and each time he sees a little bit and then falls asleep. Maybe one of these days he will see the whole thing.
He was baptised on August 23rd, which went very well. He did not cry and ended up sleeping through some of the service. He had LOTS of visitors and wants to thank everyone for the smiles, hugs, and kisses that he got from everyone.

Michigan Trip
We have been busy. First we went to Pine City for the fair and then 3 days after we returned home we headed out for Michigan for a wedding. Liam was WONDERFUL! He got to go on his first ferry ride, see his first wedding, and travel to three states. After we got back Daddy, Mommy, Grandma & Grandpa Casey brought him to the zoo. He seemed to really enjoy the fish (most of the other animals were sleeping). He continues to grow by leaps and bounds and is working on rolling over and crawling. (SCARY!!)
